Games to Play

301 Game Rules

Each player starts with 301 points.  The goal for each player is to reach zero by subtracting the amount they score from the amount they had left.  The player cannot start subtracting until they double in (hits one of the 21 doubles on the board including the double bull).  Once the double is hit, then all scores will count.  To end the game, the player must also double out (ie.  If they have 32 left, then they will need to hit a double 16 to win.  If they then hit a single sixteen, leaving 16, their next target would be a double 8.  If they should hit more  points than they have left, then they have busted.  Their turn is over and they will resume with the same score  they started with on that throw the next time it is their turn to throw.).  If they hit the double leaving them zero  points, then they have won the game.

501 Game Rules
All players/teams start with 501 points.  Unlike 301, you do not have to double-in, but can start on any number.  Each player/team subtracts the amount they score from the amount they have left.  To win, like 301 above, the player/team will need to double-out to reach zero.

Cricket Rules
Cricket involves hitting the following targets on the dartboard at least three times:  20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, and Bull.  A triple counts as three hits, a double counts as two, all other areas in that target are counted as one hit.  Also, the double bull counts as two hits.  Once a player has hit a target three times it is considered closed.  When a target is closed, the opposition can no longer score on it but the person with the closed number can score on it as long as his opposition does not have theirs closed.  Triples and doubles are scored accordingly (ie. a triple 20 counts as 60 points, a double 18 counts as 36 points).  The single bull is worth 25 points and the double bull equals 50 points.  The winner of the game is the person that has closed all of their numbers with as many or more points than the opposition.  If someone closes all their targets first, but has the least amount of points, they will have to continue to score on those targets until he/she has caught up in points (they win the game once they have either equaled or surpassed their opponent's points).
